Question Kite Runner代写
The novel The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini, tells the story through the eye of Amir, the son to one of the prominent families in Afghanistan. The story of kite runner is dramatic as the reader travel through the road with Amir and Baba while a question whether there is hope for them atone. The question that the reader ask is who decides when the atonement has been achieved?Kite Runner代写**范文
The question of how Amir and Baba attained their atonement and whether they succeeded. In my opinion, because Amir felt terrible about his sins in the past, he took a step for forgiveness and ended up protecting the person he sinned. Therefore, he was successful in his atonement. However, Baba is portrayed as a man who cannot readily accept his faults and frailties. Baba is also blamed for many atrocities committed in the story he is significant.
“there is a way to be good again” Kite Runner代写
There is a quote by Rahim Khan runs in The Kite Runner that says “there is a way to be good again.” Amir is a protagonist trying to get forgiveness for his sins and regain his redemption. The event that made Amir guilty is when he witnessed his servant and friend, Hassan, get raped. At that time, Amir was too coward to do something to protect his friend. Later in the narration, we see Amir yet betraying his friend by framing him of theft and forcefully evicted him from their house.
The two events lived inside Amir and thus shape the rest of the novel as Amir try to come into good terms with his inner self. The first action of atonement by Amir is risking his life by going back to Kabul. The aim of Rahim was for Amir to rescue Sohrab and bring him back to Pakistan. Amir learned that Hassan was half-brother and that Sohrab a nephew, he saw it a good chance to save Sohrab as a way of atoning his sins as well as redeeming himself. He, therefore, risked his life going to Kabul which was a dangerous place to be at that time.Kite Runner代写**范文
“There is a way to be good again, he would say. A way to end the cycle. With a little boy. An orphan. Hassan’s son. Somewhere in Kabul.” This was an undertone of Amir as he gets out of Rahim place. The quote is a clear depiction of the life full of lie, betrayal, and secret, and the only way to end this cycle in his life and gain redemption in return. Therefore, he went to Kabul in a bid to bring back Sohrab he learned that he is his nephew.
Fight Kite Runner代写
In order for Sohrab release, Assef requested a fair fight with Amir. Amir was beaten up, but on the contrary, for him to feel pain from the beating, he was contemplating on the day when he had requested Hassan to punish for hitting him with pomegranate. Amir felt unpunished for the sins he committed. The beating from Assef was like a way of paying for his sins to Hassan.
He felt punished for them, and therefore a feeling of redemption had started to endow him. As he narrates his fight with Assef on page 289, he said “what was funny was that, for the first time since winter of 1975, i felt peace, i laughed because i saw that, in some hidden nook in the corner of my mind, I’d even been looking forward to this. My body was broken – just how badly i would not find out until later – but felt healed.Kite Runner代写**范文
Healed at last,” (Hosseini, 2003). The quote shows a person in Amir who is ready to pay for the price to feel heal of the burden of coming into terms with his conscience for the sin he had committed. He was damaged physically but was rebuilt emotionally, which led to his physical healing too. In his quest to for atonement, Amir adopted Sohrab and took with him back in the United States.

On the other hand, Baba failed to reconcile with his bad deeps because he failed to admit his sins and how he affected other people’s lives. Although he performed few good deeds, like doing cosmetic surgery to Hassan, he failed to accept his as his son. This show that, Baba was not ready to accept his sins and therefore fully redeem himself the shackles.
It is clear that Baba actions were only meant for his redemption but not for others whom he had affected with his deeds. For instance, when Baba built children home at Kabul, it depicted him as selfless. But later it was learned that Baba did it to alleviate his guilt. The statement by Rahim to Amir says it all, “I think everything he did, feeding the poor, building, building children’s home, giving money to the friends in need, it was all his way of redeeming himself” (Hosseini, 2003; 302).Kite Runner代写**范文
Later, Rahim said that “really good was born from your father’s guilt” (Hosseini, 2003; 302), his father never achieved full atonement because of his failure to make peace with Hassan, Ali, and Amir. Therefore, it is evident that his good deeds to the people his actions affected were only to himself feel better about his moral undoing.
Enlightenment Kite Runner代写
The events in the novel show that Amir successfully managed to atone for his sins and he redeemed himself and became happy again. Through his willingness and sacrifice and his feeling towards his actions, Amir becomes redeemed him his heart. Conversely, because of his beliefs, Baba failed to achieve his atonement regardless of the charitable works to the people he directly affected.Kite Runner代写**范文
He did not do it for the good of the people but to feel better for the wrong he committed. In one way or the other, we all have to deal with atonement and redemption for the mistakes we commit. We all make decisions and end up regretting later. Although our atonement might not be like that of Amir, we can relate his life to some degree.
