Submit a 750-word summary of the research proposal topic (725 words minimum and 775 words maximum) excluding references with a clearly defined research question, hypotheses, and a short description of the method(s) you propose to use. References should be listed separately at the end and do not count against the word limit. This instrument of assessment forms the basis of your 3,000-word research proposal.
Due date: As per the ASSESSMENT section of the ECP. Check the ECP regularly as the date may change due to unforeseen circumstances.
Submission via turn-it-in only in the course blackboard by the due date. No other form of submission will be ACCEPTABLE and will be treated as a NON-SUBMISSION.
Lectures (5, 6, 7 and 8) will comprehensively cover methods of writing an effective research proposal topic, and a successful research proposal topic will need to follow these principles closely.
