▪ The mid-term assessment of the course will be in a Quiz format and it will take place online in the Week following the Reading Week.
▪ Each student can choose to take the Quiz anytime between Monday 14 November and Wednesday 16 November 2022.
▪ However, as soon as the student starts taking the Quiz, she/he will have a maximum time-period of two days to complete it.
▪ Hence, as an example, the latest day and time by which students must start the test is Wednesday 16th November 2022.
▪ Thus, the latest time by which students must submit their responses is Friday 18th November 2022, 23:59pm UK time.
▪ The Quiz will comprise multiple choice questions and numerical exercises.

▪ Structure: It will consist of two sections:
- Section with multiple choice questions (MCQs, both theoretical and numerical exercises)
- Section with numerical exercises
▪ It is compulsory to answer both sections

▪ MCQs:
- Only one answer is correct. If you provide multiple answers, the question will not be marked
- You will need to show your calculations wherever it is asked to do so

▪ Examinable material: Everything covered during the first four lectures (including the fourth one)
▪ Everything posted on QMPlus
▪ Recorded Lectures & Webinars + Slides + Lab Exercises & Solutions + Supplementary material + Live Sessions
▪ Corresponding Book Chapters
▪ You will also need to know all the theoretical formulae and Excel formulae introduced in both the lectures and labs.
During Reading Week
▪ No lecture will take place.
▪ The teaching team will hold office hours. Links are provided on Qmplus.
▪ My office hours only for the reading week will be on Monday from 9.00 to 11.00 AM GMT.

▪ No lecture will take place.
▪ The labs will run as usual.
